Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Glowmory (the "app", the "game") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Glowmory is developed and operated by Salino Games, a solo independent game studio, which acts as the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at [email protected].
1. Account data
Glowmory uses Firebase Authentication (a Google service) to manage player accounts. By default, an anonymous account is created for you — no name or email address is required to play. You may optionally link your account by signing in with Google or with an email address and password. If you do, your email address is stored so you can recover your account and sign in on other devices.
2. Gameplay data
Your game data is stored in Cloud Firestore (a Google service) so that your progress follows your account. This includes:
- Game progress and Journey checkpoints;
- Scores and leaderboard entries, together with your in-game display name;
- Achievements you have unlocked;
- Your virtual coin balance and the cosmetic items (such as tile colors) you own.
Leaderboards are public: your display name and score are visible to other players. Choose a display name you are comfortable showing publicly.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is used and to improve it. It collects usage events (for example, which modes are played and where players stop) and general device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version.
4. Advertising
Glowmory shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show ads that are more relevant to you (ad personalization). You can opt out of ad personalization, or reset or delete your advertising ID, at any time in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Players who purchase the optional Remove Ads product see no ads in the game.
5. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Purchase and subscription state is managed on our behalf by RevenueCat, which acts as a data processor. We never see or store your payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We store confirmed transaction records containing your user ID, the product purchased, and the price, so we can grant what you bought and provide support.
6. In-game feedback
The game includes an optional feedback form. If you use it, we collect the message you write, the category you choose, an optional email address (if you want a reply), and — to help us diagnose issues — your device model, operating system version, app version, and a snapshot of your game progress.
7. Where your data is stored
Data collected by the app is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) servers located in the United States. Google maintains industry-standard technical and organizational security measures for these services.
8. Sharing — and what we don't do
We do not sell your data. Information is shared only with the service providers named in this policy (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play, RevenueCat) to the extent needed to operate the game, or where required by law.
9. Children
Glowmory is a general audience game and is not directed specifically at children. In accordance with the Google Play Families policies, ad personalization is disabled for accounts identified as belonging to children, and ads served to such users are non-personalized.
10. Account & Data Deletion
You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data (progress, scores, achievements, coins, cosmetics, and any stored email address) at any time:
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" and include your in-game display name so we can locate your account.
- Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request.
- Data stored locally on your device can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the app.
Once your account is deleted, your progress, purchases history records, and leaderboard entries cannot be recovered.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when the game gains new features. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
